Mrs. Elizabeth Ross Hardamon
February 27, 1927 - May 16, 2015
In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust, let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in thy righteousness. PSALM 31:1 On the morning of May 16, 2015, the righteous was not forsaken, nor forgotten. Mrs. Elizabeth Hardamon Ross quietly entered in the portal of eternal life. She was born to the late William Lockhart and Rosa Bell Trice on February 27, 1927, in Taylor County, Georgia. At an early age, she joined Shady Grove Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Street. Elizabeth later moved her membership to Bethlehem Healing Temple of Atlanta, Georgia, under the leadership of Bishop Clarence and Pastor Ammerlee Robinson. She served in role of Mother of Church, Missionary Worker, and Food Ministries. During her life journey, Elizabeth met and married John Thomas Ross, which bore three lovely daughters: Mrs. Annie Bell Ross, Ms. Mary Katherine Ross, and Ms. Joyce Hardamon. Elizabeth was employed with Atlanta Public Board of Education for over 30 years. She was well loved by her neighbors in the fourth ward community, and most of all, she loved her family. Elizabeth love to travel so much with her daughter, Annie Bell, they formed a club in 1990 called Ladies of 90's. They were always on the go, seeing the world and visiting new places. She is prececed in death by her husband; two daughters, Annie Bell Ross-Clay and Joyce Hardamon; one brother, Mr. Jesse Heath; Two sisters, Cora Banks, and her twin Lizzie Mae Lockhart. Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Ms. Mary Katherine Ross, of Talbotton, Georgia; two grandchildren, Mr. Kobais Mondrez Ross, of Talbotton, Georgia and Rev. Robert Thomas Ross (Stephanie), of Madison, Georgia; nine grandchildren, Jaylin Ross, Jeremiah Ross, Reece Ross, Joshua Ross, Jayceon Stubbs, Shamirra Laguins, Emorion Laguins, Shaquona Clark, and Jaylen Clark; one sister, Mrs, Lula Mae Heath, of Talbotton, Georgia; two special nephews, Mr. James Garnett, and Mr. Tyrome Garnett, both of Talbotton, Georgia; two special nieces, Mrs. Phyllis Silverman(Reggie), of Stone Mountain, Georgia, and Mrs. Angelia Snipes, of Columbus, Georgia; special neighbors, Mrs. Peggy Grimes, of Atlanta, Georgia and Mrs. Mattie Cotton, of Decatur, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews and friend
