Mrs. Candace Melissa Carter

“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” Psalms 30:5 On the morning of January 6, 1983, God descended one of his Angels, Ms. Candace Carter was born the to Anthony Price and Late Edwina Carter- Stewart, (Marcus). Candace was a soft kind hearted person, with a smile and laughter that could brighten anyone’s darkest day. She was a mother, a granddaughter, a sister and much more. Candace attended Tri-Cities High School in East Point, GA and Morgan County High School. Candace had a passion for cooking, one of her specialist was grilling. She constantly looked for different ways to better her receipts and perfected her craft. Candace was known for such a soft voice, big personality and most of all her laughter. Her favorite thing in this world beside her kids and family was a cell phone and a camera. She loved loud vibrant colors and food network. She will truly be missed just thinking about all the good laughs will be comforting within itself. She loved to have a good long drawed out conversation with good people. You said it best Candace “I’m Fabulous” She leaves to cherish her memories: fiancée Neal Rivers, of Madison, Georgia; Four beautiful children: Tyler Carter, Tyson Carter, Kayla Reid-Carter and Katleen Carter all of Madison, Georgia; A loving mother, Mrs. Emma and Frank Lightner of Madison, Ga; A very special cousin/Godfather, Rodney Clarke Jr. of Phoenix Arizona; A 2nd mother, Mrs. Melissa and Rodney Clarke Sr. of Lithonia, Ga.; Two brothers, Blake(Nequania) Carter of Madison, Georgia; and Corey Carter(Mattie) of Madison, Georgia; Two sisters, Jaszmin Milling and Lindsey Price of Atlanta, Georgia; Five Uncles, Bashun Carter(Marsonja) of Madison, Georgia; Ralph Smith (Beverly), of Madison, Ga. Uncle Robert “2 to 1”, of Madison, Georgia; Frank Smith (Anna Mae),of Madison, Georgia; Leroy Smith (Shirley) of Atlanta, Georgia; A very special God Brother, Cedric Robinson, of Madison, Georgia; Five Aunt, Diane Taylor, Lottie Lewis, Delois Mccoy(Carl), Teresa Smith and Maylee Williams, all of Madison, Georgia; Three Nieces Z’Kiyah, Paris, and Harmony Carter and a host of other relatives, and friends.
