Mrs. Annie Mae Smith

December 3, 1946 - September 7, 2015

“A time to bore” Annie Mae Smith was born on December 3, 1946 in Morgan county ga to late Mr. Clarence Bennett, Sr and Mary Bennett. To this union eleven children out of this union. Annie Mae was seventh child. “A time to live” Annie Mae was a graduate of Pearl High School in 1968. She work at Madison slack for many years in Madison. Later, Annie was employed with Harrison Poultry for 17 years as a Deboner, after retiring, she started chicken grower business. Annie Mae was very outgoing and outstanding person who love to cook for her family and friends. Her specialist was baking them Red Velvet and Caramel Cakes for her family and friends. Her niece, Courtney which would call every hour on the hour asking Auntie is that cake ready yet!! She also love planting and growing flowers. It was nothing for her to make me an outfit of clothes by hand or to sew me a prom dress. She enjoyed spending her weekends shopping with her kids and grandkids whom always were favorite to her. Annie Mae joined the Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age. She served faithfully until her health begin to decline. She was united in Holy matrimony to Willie Frank Smith in July 1967. And, to this union three children were born. Annie Mae was preceded in death by sibling, Grady Hall (Sylvia), Johnny Hall (Dorothy), and Columbus Hall. Annie Mae leaves to cherish her memories husband, Willie Frank Smith, Sr.; Three children, Charlene Griffin (Darrell), of Conyers, Ga; Frankie Smith( Marquesia), of Eatonton, Ga; and Falon Smith (Nick), of Madison, Ga; Brothers and Sisters, Willie Albert Hall (Chisten), of Atlanta, Ga, Paul Hall (Sylvia), of Miami,Fla, Clarence Bennett, Jr (Mamie Lee), of Buckhead, GA, Bonnie Bennett, of Atlanta, GA, Ted Bennett(Mary), of Madison, Ga, Joe Lewis Bennett, Madison, Ga, and Mary Weaver, of Athens, GA; seven grandchildren, Kierra, Chris, Abbie, Tristan, Trinity, Tremaine, and Jackson; six step grandchildren, Alisha, Felisha; Nieces, Sylvi, Eve, Sandra, Pamela, JoJo, Kim, and Brenda; Nephews, Tristen, Christopher, Bashun, Joe, Maurice, and Ranard; A host of other relatives and friends.
